Introduction to Naturegg Break Free!

In 1999, Burnbrae Farms added Break Free to its Naturegg line of all-natural, great tasting liquid egg products. Naturegg Break Free liquid eggs have 80% less fat and cholesterol than regular eggs and are made from only farm fresh eggs and other all-natural ingredients. Naturegg Break Free tastes and bakes just like regular shell eggs. In fact, you will not notice the difference when baking a cake or scrambling them up for breakfast! For convenience, Naturegg Break Free comes in a fresh format in two 250 ml containers that requires no cracking and no thawing, just shake when ready to use and pour. As an added benefit, however, Naturegg Break Free can be frozen, when ready to use just thaw, shake and pour.

Recently, Naturegg launched a frozen version of Break Free that has a longer shelf-life. See the package for thawing instructions, but for best results, simply thaw in the fridge overnight. If any further thawing is required, run the carton under hot water and shake well before opening.

When compared to egg replacements, the flavour of Naturegg Break Free cannot be beat!

How to use

Use in baking, as a substitute for whole beaten egg in most breakfast dishes (i.e. omelettes), as a low fat protein source or, because it is pasteurized, to add protein and a frothy texture to healthy fruit drinks.
