Ingredients

2 cup / 500 g Naturegg Omega Plus cracked eggs, well shaken
1/4 tsp / 1 ml each salt and pepper
1 tsp / 5 ml vegetable oil
1 green onion, finely chopped
4 hot dog buns

Directions

  1. Whisk liquid eggs with salt and pepper. Heat oil in 10” (25 cm) nonstick skillet over medium heat.

  2. Pour in egg mixture; sprinkle with green onion. Cover tightly and cook 2-3 minutes or until set.

  3. Cut cooked eggs in half. Roll each half into a log, starting at long rounded outer edge and rolling into the middle of pan, guiding with a rubber spatula. Cut each cylinder in half; place one piece on each hot dog bun.

Tips

  1. Sprinkle cooked eggs with shredded cheese just before rolling for a heartier lunch.

  2. Wrap egg portions around heated wieners for a heartier meal.

  3. Serve with traditional condiments such as ketchup, mustard, relish or salsa.
