Ingredients

1 cup
Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/2 cup
Barley and/or Rye Flour
1/4 cup
Whole Flax Seeds
Flour for rolling surface
1
Naturegg Omega 3 egg
1/4 cup
Canola Oil
1/2 cup
Chicken Stock
Beaten Naturegg Omega 3 Egg with a splash of water for egg wash

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F (based on Convection Oven). Prepare cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

  2. Combine dry ingredients (first 3 above). Combine wet ingredients; mix well. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until dough comes together into a firm ball that is not sticky. Roll dough on floured surface to desired, even thickness. Score your dough (pierce holes to prevent bubbles forming in treats while baking) and cut into desired shapes. Brush shapes with egg wash to create a beautiful shine.

  3. Bake for 25-30 Minutes (soft baked).

  4. Bake for 1 1/2 Hours for hard and crunchy treats. Turn oven off with treats inside to dehydrate completely.

Tips

  1. Decorate your treats with melted Yogourt Chips, Merckens chips (NOT Chocolate) or Carob Chips. Be creative, using a few sprinkles, seeds or coconut!
