Omelette Waffle

Ingredients

Naturegg Omega 3 eggs
1
medium potato, raw and grated
1 to 2 slice
precooked bacon, cut into small pieces
¼ cup / 60 ml
grated cheddar cheese
½ cup / 125 ml
raw spinach, chopped
1 pinch
garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
Toppings of your choice (salsa, sour cream and diced avocado)

Directions

  1. Press the grated potato between two pieces of paper towel to remove excess moisture. Set aside.

  2. Crack the eggs into a bowl. Whisk together to obtain a light, smooth texture.

  3. Add the other ingredients to the beaten eggs (including the grated potato). Mix and set aside.

  4. Take out your waffle iron. Spray both sides with oil.

  5. When the waffle iron is hot, pour the egg mixture into it.

  6. Close the waffle iron and cook for 3 to 4 minutes (or until it turns a nice colour.)

  7. Remove the waffle from the waffle iron.

  8. Serve on a plate with the toppings of your choice like store-bought salsa, sour cream and diced avocado.
