Blackcurrant Sweetheart Sour
This delicious cocktail is made with blackcurrant liqueur and whisky and is elevated by the frothy foam made with our Naturegg Simply Egg Whites.

|2 oz / 60 ml||whisky|
|0.75 oz / 22 ml||blackcurrant liqueur|
|1 oz / 30 ml||fresh lemon juice|
|0.5 oz / 15 ml||simple syrup|
|1 oz / 30 ml||Naturegg Simply Egg Whites|
Pour all the ingredients into the shaker.
Shake once vigorously without ice (dry shake).
Add ice cubes, then shake vigorously a second time.
Double-strain through a fine sieve into a chilled glass
To elevate the presentation, sprinkle dehydrated hibiscus powder over a heart-shaped stencil, which are readily available at craft stores, online and some dollar stores.
Use a shaker with a good seal and a fine strainer.

When adding sugar to egg whites begin after the whites are foamy and then add 1 tablespoon at a time, beating as you slowly sprinkle the sugar in. Check to be sure that sugar is dissolved by rubbing a bit of beaten white between your thumb and forefinger. It should feel smooth.
