Creamy Candy Cane

Ingredients

0.5 oz
vodka
1 oz
crème de menthe
2 scoop
vanilla ice cream
1 oz
Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
Garnish
crushed candy cane pieces

Directions

  1. Pour vodka, crème de menthe and egg white in the shaker.

  2. Shake vigorously once without ice (dry shake).

  3. Add ice cream and ice cubes, then shake vigorously once more.

  4. Pour the entire contents of the shaker into the glass.

  5. Sprinkle with candy cane pieces.

Tips

  1. For an alcohol-free version: Replace the crème de menthe with homemade or store-bought mint syrup, and omit the vodka altogether.

When adding sugar to egg whites begin after the whites are foamy and then add 1 tablespoon at a time, beating as you slowly sprinkle the sugar in. Check to be sure that sugar is dissolved by rubbing a bit of beaten white between your thumb and forefinger. It should feel smooth.
