- 1/2 cup / 125 g
- Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
- Pinch
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp / 5 ml
- Butter or vegetable oil
Directions
Whisk eggs and egg whites with salt and pepper until well combined.
Melt butter in a small nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add eggs; cook without stirring for 1 minute. Continue to cook for 30 to 45 seconds, stirring gently until soft curds form. Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
Tips
Recipe doubles or triples easily.
Fold in 1/4 cup (60 mL) grated Cheddar just before removing from the pan to add even more protein and a punch of flavour.
Wrap the scramble in a large flour tortilla along with cheese and condiments of choice for a portable breakfast-wich.
