Chocolate Almond Energy Balls
These no-bake energy balls are perfect before or after a workout, or anytime you need a boost. Recipe by Alex L’Abbée (@alexlabbee).

- Makes: 10 energy balls
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup / 80 ml
- Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
- 3/4 cup / 190 ml
- maple syrup
- 2 cup / 500 g
- powdered rolled oats
- 1/2 cup / 125 ml
- almond butter
- 1/2 cup / 125 ml
- dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp / 5 ml
- vanilla extract
Directions
In a blender, grind the rolled oats into powder.
In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla extract and egg whites.
Add the chocolate chips and stir to combine.
Roll the mixture into golf-ball-sized balls.
Refrigerate for 20 minutes before serving.
Tips
For different flavour combinations replace almond butter with peanut butter or switch chocolate chips to chopped dried fruit.
