Ingredients

2/3 cup / 150 g
Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
1 1/2 cup / 375 ml
frozen strawberries
1/2 cup / 125 ml
frozen riced cauliflower
1/2 cup / 125 ml
cottage cheese
2 tbsp / 30 ml
strawberry jam
1 tbsp / 15 ml
graham cracker crumbs (optional)
1/2 tsp / 2 ml
vanilla extract (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine egg whites, strawberries, cauliflower, cottage cheese and graham crumbs and vanilla (if using) in a high powered blender. Add 1/3 cup (75 ml) water; blend until smooth, adjusting consistency with extra water as preferred. Serve immediately

Tips

  1. Using pasteurized Simply Egg Whites in all your favourite smoothies will provide a low calorie, natural source of protein.

  2. Frozen cauliflower rice is a great scoopable frozen veggie to mix into your smoothies almost undetected.

  3. Replace the strawberries with other frozen berries, pitted cherries or sliced peaches if preferred, adding the same flavour of jam to complement the fruit.
