Ingredients

2/3 cup / 150 g
Naturegg Simply Egg Whites, well shaken
1 1/2 cup / 375 ml
frozen mixed berries such as strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries
1 cup / 250 ml
chopped fresh zucchini
1/2 cup / 125 ml
2% cottage cheese
3 tbsp / 45 ml
any preferred flavour fruit spread or jam (approx.)

Directions

  1. Combine egg whites, mixed berries, zucchini, cottage cheese and jam in a high powered blender. Add 1/3 cup (75 ml) water; blend until smooth, adjusting consistency with extra water as preferred. Serve immediately.

Tips

  1. Using pasteurized Simply Egg Whites as your liquid ingredient in all your favourite smoothies will provide a low calorie, natural source of protein, with no added sweeteners or fillers.

  2. Using jam instead of maple syrup or honey for sweetness enhances the berry flavours. Adjust the amount to the sweetness preferred.
